Your child's Key Person
Whilst in our care your child will have a special KEY PERSON. We understand that starting a new nursery can be an anxious time for parents too and are here to support you and answer any questions you may have, whenever you need!
The Key person will undertake observations, input information onto the Famly app and ensure that your child continues to enjoy their time within nursery. They will also be a point of contact for you should you have any questions or would like to discuss any areas of your child’s day with us. Parent Partnership is especially important to us, please see the Key Person bags we recently launched. We hope you and your child really enjoy them!
Our Breakfast, Out of School and Holiday Clubs
We believe that we offer the perfect local solution for your childcare requirements including a Breakfast Club, an Out of School Club and a Holiday Club catering for children from the age of 2 up to 11 years of age. Overseen by 4 Trustees, all highly experienced in the childcare arena our focus is on providing the best childcare possible for EVERY child.

Ready to join us?
As a non-profit organisation we use any additional finances to enhance the setting allowing us to continually strive for excellence for all children, parents and staff. If you would like to join our wonderful setting, please return the session request form (available below via WORD or PDF files) and we will contact you regarding a starting date and what sessions are available.
We are a very popular setting and you can use the session request form to add your details to the waiting list for future years. Please contact us if you have any questions or would like to arrange a visit, we would love to show you around our wonderful early learning environment.
Become a Shadwell Childcare Trustee
The trustees of Shadwell Childcare would like to recruit a User Trustee. A User Trustee is someone who uses the services provided by the charity; in this case, parents or carers of children who attend, or childminders / relatives who regularly drop off / collect from our nursery or wrap-around care.
We would also like to find an additional trustee, ideally with experience in the field of finance, HR or contracting. If you are interested in finding out more about the role of user trustee and / or know someone who might be interested in joining us, please speak to Paula in the first instance on office@shadwellchildcare.org.
